Register on the Accommodation Portal

By registering on the Accommodation Portal, you’ll be able to:

  • Apply for student accommodation at the University of Bristol for 2025/26;
  • View and respond to any offer of University accommodation;
  • View your tenancy agreement;
  • View information about your room and residence.

If you are a new applicant and want to register on the Accommodation Portal, you need to:

Step 1: Provide your details

You will need your:

  • University of Bristol student number – this is a 7 character number assigned to you and can be found at the top of your offer email from the University (this is not your UCAS number and it usually starts with '2').
  • email address – this must be the email address you used when you applied for your course (e.g. via UCAS).

Step 2: Confirm your details to click on the activation link

Once you have provided your details, you will be sent an email titled, ‘Confirm your details - Accommodation Portal, University of Bristol’. You must click on the link in the email to activate your account. The activation link will expire after 1 hour of receiving the email.

Step 3: Set up your Accommodation Portal login details

When you click on the activation link, you will be able to set up your login details.
