Step 2: Confirm your details and click on the activation link

Thank you for providing your details.

We will send you an email titled ‘Confirm your details - Accommodation Portal, University of Bristol’ soon. Please note that there might be a delay in receiving this email.

Do not provide your details more than once unless you have checked your junk or spam folders and have waited two hours.

If you have not received this email after two hours, please contact Student Accommodation via email on student-accommodation@bristol.ac.uk.

What you need to do

When you receive the email, ‘Confirm your details - Accommodation Portal, University of Bristol’, you need to:

  1. You must click on the link in the email to activate your account. Please note that you can only click on the activation link once. The activation link will expire after one hour of receiving the email.

  2. When you click on the link, you can set up your Accommodation Portal login details to activate your account.

If your activation link does not work

The reasons for this might be:

  • The activation link has expired.
  • You may have provided your details more than once in a short space of time.
  • You can only click on the activation link once. If you click the activation link and then exit the browser without completing the login details, you will need to provide your details again.

To generate a new activation link, you will need to wait at least two hours from the original email to re-submit your details.
